Most mysteries in GF just get solved by the plot itself dumping all the relevant info onto our main characters laps rather than them figuring out anything for themselves. The only time I can think of Dipper uncovering something himself is Robbie’s backwards message in the CD

Pacifica deserves and can do way better than a little fag like dipper
