WTF, move somewhere normal people live. This is going to increase your cost of living significantly. When you buy only single use sizes of milk, juice, yogurt, you spend more money to eat. When you can't buy bulk toilet paper, etc, your cost of living is bodega style prices. It's a type of tax on the poor to shop convenience prices.

For my area, which is struck with hurricane season/power outages, I pretty much switch to marinated bean dips/grain salads like steam in bag kind of rice and quinoa, hummus and chips. PB and banana sandwiches. I live out of a ice chest, and buy bagged ice every couple of days and keep cold cuts and bread on hand, or else crackers. Bags of tangerines to peel, or apples to wash and eat. Celery, onion and tuna fish for "salad" sanwiches. Start saving your mayonnaise packets.
