Tariffs inherently aren't going to increase prices. That's not the point, it's to protect domestic production against international competition. If a larger international economy can outproduce your product for pennies on the dollar, it damages your economy worse than actually having inflation.

1. Outsourcing labor internationally removes the incentive for higher wages domestically. Forcing people to take on gig economy work to make ends meet

2. An economy more reliant on international trade for critical industries actually weakens our domestic policy, this allows foreign agents like China and Russia to have a larger opinion on how we operate

3. Removing core industries from our economy requires for it to be propped up by government and gig works. Employment numbers have never truly recovered past covid.

4. When your everyday items are made outside of the states, you remove multiple jobs that could've went to creating that such as

>supply chain & component manufacturing
>assembly & manufacturing
>distribution & logistics
>sales & marketing

The only people who are complaining about tariffs are people who refuse to adapt to a changing world. Mainly ones who work middlemen jobs that actually have no true economic output. Its basically one step away from a second world country.

Quality and job security drops intensely when you outsource essential labor to maximize profits.

Ironically theyre corporate bootlickers that want GMOs and artificial flavorings for the cheapest slop possible. Its corporate greed masked as a concern with costs being passed down to the consumer.
