It absolutely is after the Fed just started to wrangle inflation. Not that it matters. We need to get this collapse done and over with. I'm tired of this slow roll.

In an inflationary market, you should absolutely not be sitting on cash. That money is burning its value fast. Find something, that you trust, to stick it into to maintain your wealth. Hyperinflation doesn't crash markets, the assets usually just hyperinflate to match new currency valuation.

This all assuming the Trump admin doesn't do something abhorrently stupid. Currently, the DOGE is questioning current financial liabilities. Nothing wrong with that but, should they make the wrong moves, it's basically a declaration that debts may not be repaid on a case-by-case basis. THAT would crash the markets. Not much survives that, though crypto might be "relatively" fine.
