Alot of them get lazy for gibs or blackmailed into silence about it. To be fair, you can make an almost living wage going along with it so I understand. Most people lack ambition also, and in their particular case they drive people in that are already lonely, and give them a sort of ubi and limited operational capacity to expose various propaganda points (that will be used to deem them a threat to national security if a line is crossed, which opens up new contract opportunities to something something combat domestic "terrorism"). Weird situation for sure. Very interesting and smart people behind it. I'm fascinated how it all works from an academic standpoint and nothing else. They aren't even really pissing me off at this point it's mostly the solo operators getting on my nerves.
