Similar to how Bitcoin works and completely unlike Ethereums account model.
Cardanos transactions are deterministic and allow for completely different scaling methods.
A transaction on a chain using UTXOs is not the same as a transaction on an account model chain.
There is also no difference between ADA and some token.
A transaction can have several inputs and outputs, so you (or a CEX for example) could do a transaction involving ADA and 10 different tokens to 50 different people and it would count as only 1 transaction.

>Staking
Probably the best staking mechanism.
No lockup, no bounding, no slashing risk (lmao imagine), auto compounding.
Your ADA is always liquid on a protocol level, without having to go through some 3rd party.

>Midnight chain
An upcoming privacy focused sidechain utilizing the existing Cardano staking infrastructure for security.
Doing a lot of privacy magic using ZK-proofs and so on. Offering private transactions and smart contract execution, while avoiding issues with regulation since the fee tokens are generate on the Cardano side. (basically imagine being able to *initially* buy/hold XMR on a public ledger, but then transacting and calling smart contracts on a private chain)
Token will be dropped to ADA holders and also holders of some other bigger chains. Bitcoin for example.

>Scaling
Hydra is Cardanos in-house isomorphic scaling solution.
Every Hydra head has the same capabilities as the base chain and can therefore have its own Hydra head again. Uncapped scaling and no need for some trusted party.
