They’re esoteric. Most don’t really resemble vertebrate bodyplans, which humans are obviously biased towards. It was awhile ago on here but one guy made an interesting point of how something like mantis do not freak people out as much as something like a spider. The mantis has a head that can swivel around and has a distinct head and body. Whereas the spider is totally unlike that of a vertebrate other than being bilateral.

NTA but I wouldn’t count them. They’re not arthropods, which I think is what defines being a ‘bug’. They’re still cool though, love mollusks.
