Human beauty standards are "natural" in that they refer heavily to health and basic evolutionary fitness. Like symmetrical faces, which correlate strongly with good nutrition and a lack of mental illness, and are something we NATURALLY strive towards having NATURALLY. Natural typically means things that arise via natural processes of selection rather than midwit musings and idealist garbage. ie: THCa is a natural compound with function in controlling cell death and repelling pests in the hemp plant. The psychoactive, decarboxylated form is typically unnatural due to the foolish intervention of humans adding heat.

Most people typically understand natural to also be normally, but not necessarily, superior, because something that is natural has most likely been subject to natural selection for enough time to prove its worth in aiding the survival of a species. Most, but not all, natural things are the best option available for whatever problem they solve.

ie: Most people agree that intra-specific empathy is a NATURAL trait of human beings. It is therefore most likely, but not necessarily, a superior trait in most situations.

Incorrect beauty standards or a conscious resistance to correct (natural) beauty standards could be construed as an attempt to select against health and for mental illness.
