I think I know who you're talking about. Propagandists, right? Their weakness is that they legitimately do not know how to compromise or consider anyone else's point of view, and that makes them unworthy friends. Point out that nobody close to them trusts them enough to mask off, and that they'll never feel safe if they're constantly watching their tone.
