This is wrong, actually. If anything, what has happened for the past two decades is the opposite. I hate how a lot of shounen/seinen now start to pander to them too. They've ruined the male part of the fandom. It's almost as bad as what happened to video games.

Women should've stayed with shoujo/josei. Maybe if they had, shoujo wouldn't have died. Or just stop watching anime or reading manga altogether and move to live action.
