And like any job, anywhere, since the beginning of time, you improve your odds by knowing people. So be be friendly, humble, gregarious, and outgoing. Being tall & attractive helps too. But if you didn't win the genetic lottery in those regards, at least get a haircut, take showers, and hit the gym.
