Their main source of revenue comes from a super loyal fanbase of young women in remote areas of Japan. DG runs all over the country, in many prefectures/buildings that no other company would bother to try. So they get all the business at those locations, and their main audience in those arenas are repressed women that are drawn to their hunky roster (like how salarymen are drawn to idols). Also DG is very storyline/promo heavy as opposed to other puro companies, so a lot is lost trying to bring those elements to the west. They only have English commentary on 33% of shows because their annoying super fan lives in the country and volunteers his time. He still has a day job at Mercari because they don't want to bother with pursuing Western expansion anytime soon.

In America the indie revenue is generated from fat neck beards jacking off to star ratings and DG would rather run 500 seat gyms in freezing Hokkaido with the hope that the women up there will rub themselves raw thinking of the next time HYO comes to visit.
