You're correct. My sentence was that if you were already intelligent then the study of sociology would've given you the toolset to reject retarded /pol/ ideology, not embrace it. Nobody who is a braindead /pol/lack also understands that sociology is and how it applies to complex social systems. These two things are contradictory. They cannot exist in the same mind.

Anthropology, sociology, psychology, economics, history - all data based disciplines. That's not even a remotely controversial statement.
