faq https://pastebin.com/Ab9QvbD7 this album is such a strong message of empowerment for women Why do people hate Fleet Foxes? What music do you play in the lobby? Which country produced the best rap music after USA? New Metallica song is fucking weird. It sounds like Metallica from a parallel universe where they became a speed metal band instead of thrash. The name and artwork are also very odd, and not in a cool way. Good thing I had zero expectations going into it, I suppose. Does anyone here play any flutes?
I saw an ebay listing for a flute called the Aulos Traverso Glenser AF-1 and it was pretty cheap, it's plastic but it's meant to be for playing baroque music
Would this be worth getting for a first flute?
How hard is playing the flute? What’s some good music for a center right fellow like myself? LIL CRISPY here. I wanna make a Christmas LP. Good festive songs to sample for some beats you can think of?
I'm thinking of doing something with tighten up by Archie Bell and the Drells and the flinstones theme and a track based on Chinese sweatshops but that's all I got so far WHERE THE FUCK IS THE STICKY MODS
I SWEAR IF FUCKING DEATH GRIPS GETS A STICKY FOR A ANOTHER SHITTY ALBUM OF ZOOMER BLEEP BLOOPS I'M GOING TO GO FUCKING APESHIT Christmas music before 1940

It's not like punk rock where the lyrics are explicitly communist, but it seems like every major industrial artist is a libshit. Everybody knows that KMFDM and Trent are libs, but as I have explored the genre over a few months, seems like everyone, Ministry, Filter, Pig, even fucking Depeche Mode will all from time to time make some song bashing America. How did this come to be? Ministry and Filter have even ramped up their libshittery in recent years. Why? Hey /mu/
let's share some nu metal bands.
Old lessor known or even new nu metal bands that you think rule. Where the fuck are my emotional hardcore chads at? Why is all new emo tranny shit? I genuinely miss revival because of this. Its been lacking in post-hardcore lately and its all pop-punk crap these days. 1. Post your music

This is the fourth fucking time it's happened, my playlists on there shrink every time I listen to them. Since they're all <1000 follower artists nothing is uploaded anywhere else for posterity. Some of my all time favorite tracks are gone forever now, what are some good options to archive the few that are still up? gf just broke up with me what song do I listen to? Fuck this band for making me start smoking cigarettes overrated garbage mr west what are some genres of high art music that aren't classical or jazz? How did he get so old wtf back in the day before rap was about murder and drugs Is there anything more pleb than actively disliking Christmas music? Hey mods, do you plan on deleting all the Shitify spam? John was carried by Paul. It didn’t help George started writing songs as good if not better. I want to brainwash you into loving her forever Is it normal to be absolute shite for awhile at playing by ear? I don't get it. I legit want a mod to justify not not giving Christine Mcvie a sticky. If not, we riot Who is the Kanye of Finnish music? since music is dead from a cultural standpoint is it time for hiro to delete /mu/ and replace it with a more active board? It really is good. One would think Drake wouldn't have been able to grow creatively to the extent he did on this project in that short amount of time, but in fact he did. On this record, Drake's rapping is better, instrumental choices are better, the vocals sound better, I think some of the moodier R&B-infused tracks are sounding a lot bolder and more unique. To me this record is the real spiritual successor to So Far Gone, and many people are of the opinion that out of all of Drake's albums so far, this one has aged the best. And honestly I would agree. I think Take Care has aged the best. I certainly like it more than So Far Gone. I would put it in the B category. I know my initial review of this one was a little lukewarm. It has grown on me a little over the years even though there are some tracks that still to this day I think are pretty wack. I cannot stand Marvin's Room, I cannot stand the Rihanna track either, not that that has anything directly to do with Rihanna, but still. Yeah, I just cannot stand particular songs off of this one, and there are people out there who hugely disagree with me over that. I have said publicly before that wow, Marvin's Room is still terrible. And every single time I mention that people are just like 'Fuck you, Anthony.' But still, I do have to give Drake credit for breaking the ground that he did on that track. It's certainly a brand of R&B that's caught on quite well." What kind of music doeshe listen to think about dreamtheater? I am between this and one of the DIIV albums Wish You Were Here [Columbia, 1975]
No dumb tribulations-of-a-rock-star epic here--the dedication to long-departed crazy Syd Barrett gives it an emotional resolve that mitigates what little self-pity lyricist Roger Waters allows himself. Even more remarkable, the music is not only simple and attractive, with the synthesizer used mostly for texture and the guitar breaks for comment, but it actually achieves some of the symphonic dignity (and cross-referencing) that The Dark Side of the Moon simulated so ponderously. And the cover/liner art is worthy of all the stoned raps it has no doubt already inspired. A- >your cunt

hows november been for you guys why is the buddy holly music video set in some old restaurant this is where gusic peaked I love Kimbra so much bros Can anyone point me to some pieces similar to these songs that I can learn on piano as an intermediate player? I love these kind of harmonies and the beautiful ornamented and at times chromatic melodies.
https://youtu.be/3ejTMieCiWs (the part at 4 mins but as a whole piece would be perfect)
https://youtu.be/A_I_7txfwsU (this one is good but I'm not sure if I can find good sheet music for it, the arrangements on yt don't capture it very well I think)
https://youtu.be/8TdC59g-u1U (too hard and I'd prefer something slower and more melancholic)
Ideally something I can find sheet music for, since my teacher is very classically focused. Her newer stuff sounds like RnB too I guess. But she’s still got a very soul voice.
Do you guys like any soul? James Brown’s performance on Soul Train is my favourite. What is the lead instrument in this track? Oh also post vidya music you find beautiful.

fuck this site, everyone knew this shit was gonna happen when they added 'deconstructed club' back in 2017 and it opened the flood gates. Terminally online autistic trannies love categorizing everything into micro-genres. I just ordered a keyboard off amazon. How long will it take me to learn Moonlight Sonata? Anyone else think I Want You (She's So Heavy) was heavily inspired by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac? It's a known fact that Sun King from the same album was an homage of Fleetwood Mac's Albatross, but I Want You also sounds to me like John imitating Peter Green's brand of mellow, brooding blues rock, particularly on Black Magic Woman. His guitar solo even sounds like an attempt to gimmick Green's style. HAVE YOU SEEN MY WIFE MR. JONES? All your favorite bands are rich kids dicking around with their parents' trust fund money. Yes, even that supposedly obscure indie band which just so happened to be shilled by Pitchfork. If you actually supported underground music you'd be trawling the depths of Bandcamp, searching for unknown music blogs and doing actual physical crate digging. Instead, you let curated lists curated from curated lists dictate your music taste, and I'm sorry to tell you this but said lists usually have an agenda, are based on monetary influence and don't actually give you a holistic view of supposedly "good" music. The solution is to always go deeper. You are at such a pathetically surface level of music that I actually feel bad you can't comprehend it. What are you using to download music?
I just realized my downloader of choice (deemix) is downloading 128kbps after months of using it. fug >band has a full-time member for backing vocals
>they don't play an instrument or sing lead, they literally just do backing vocals >does the greatest live guitar solo ever
Based af You guys got any good Spotify premium APK's that work? The new update made mine not work anymore... I still think hes a very inventive and influencing composer but as time goes by the more I realize how gimmicky and artificial everything he has done is. Even his more groovy and funky pieces arent really groovy and got stale drums, and Im sure its not the drummers fault because its a different drummer every time. His most soulful song was actually written by George Duke. His cynical outlook and the random lyrics gets tiring after a while, I cant fanthom how he lived decades putting "poodle sex" in his lyrics and quoting the chord progression from Louie Louie and still found that funny (muuh conceptual continuity)
He had brainlet takes only he understood and cared about (the people are inside the piano! The people get turned into racist caricatures with potato heads and duck face!)
His ironically enthusiastic fake announcer like voice stage persona is obnoxious ("Thats right, ladies and gentleman!")
He released 80 albums but only around 5 are somewhat good to be listened to front to back
In short, he has always been very far up his own ass enjoying the smells of his own putrid farts, even if he was a genius composer
I think Ive got Zappa fatigue fellows fiddling with my broken guitar:
audio is pretty bad so turn up your volume real high >Are the most secretly kino band ever in your path What’s the appeal of this album? There’s a lot of music that I hated at first but eventually got into, but I cannot for the life of me comprehend why it’s considered some experimental masterpiece when it just sounds like a shitpost. Every time someone calls it bad on here, nobody explains the appeal, they just act all pretentious and smug and say “you just don’t get it because your brain is too small and your mind is too narrow to appreciate experimental music :^)”. I’m not convinced it isn’t just something people pretend to like so they can feel better than everyone else. What went wrong, arcticsisters? The sample I want sounds sort of like ripping a piece of paper but it's used as some sort of percussion sound.
