It's 3 hours of content. That's not high effort by any means. And devs always count the hours assuming everyone is a slow as fuck reader. If the appeal is 3 hours of content from sidequests/dialogue, anyone that reads any kind of book and doesn't just mindlessly play video games is going to read through the dialogue fast enough for it to be more like 1-2 hours.

Pure cope. What did you even expect as a reply to this? Something like, "Yes, you're right, the game is unique and high effort for using simple default mechanics packaged with rpgmaker reused from games that came out 40 years ago." It's not unique or high effort if it's been done 1000x before, and done better at that.

2-3 hours of gameplay is something I'd expect from a free demo. Not a paid product. Not one that someone is asking money for when I can get more bang for my buck elsewhere.

The standard edition for all 4 games you mentioned cost 70$. None of those are in the range of 130$ unless you're buying some retarded super edition. I agree it's more than $60 but you're exaggerating and cherry picking the expensive examples.
