I haven't played godbound so maybe it fails in the execution, but that's actually a pretty interesting piece of game design when you think about it.
A character with literally infinite wealth can only get any conflict in his life from the things that he wants that money can't buy him. The only problems he can face are ones that aren't solved by the thing he has infinite amounts of. It means that picking the wealth guy means that the game is actually the opposite of being about money, which is the opposite of usual game design (i.e if you pick a hacker you want the game to have hacking in it, if you play a detective you probably want the game to have crime in it).
Is there a level 1 violence godbound type that can instantly kill anyone they want with telepathy or something? Because that would be amazing. Picking the guy who is perfect at violence defaults the campaign to be not about violence since he has no conflict getting himself the things that violence can get him. A perfect killer character would have a story where the conflict is by necessity non-violent.
