I agree with this, but ironicly this mentality is hurting them since it's lead to worse and worse content increasingly less well suited for becoming an animated show.
Campaign one can fairly easily be turned into an "epic fantasy" adventuring story
Campaign 2 is a pretty meandering mess of them avoiding plotlines, but it wouldn't be that hard for them to follow up and complete some of the plotlines they almost went for, in the adaptation. Tighten the focus so the adaptation of the campaign 2 show won't feel as rushed as the actual webshow (which ends up feeling rushed because the last 30 something episodes pivots to something completely unrelated, and then there's no time to properly wrap up Fjord/calebs/etc storylines).
Mind you, those last 30 episodes are a complete SLOG in of themselves, which is fucked up.

Campaign three, it doesn't even have that little to adopt. 90 something episodes in and it feels as if nothing has happened. Possibly because the focus has been on Matt's main plot, with the players not caring at all.
