Also the ending of Macross Plus. God, Gainax is such a hack studio. The only good things they made were Houkago no Pleiades (which is literal moe crap made as a car commercial) and the Appleseed OVA -- debatably Nadia too, but that's super derivative as well (it's even derivative of Gunbuster kek).
