Many of the women who show up in provocative cosplays (seen here >>10868292) are literal whores. As in they go to conventions with the intent of selling themselves and spreading their legs in a hotel room. There is a large amount of sex and drugs that happen during cons and it's been this way for decades but people are only just now starting to wake up to it(the somewhat recent "five guys" incident was the first wake up call to a surprisingly large number of people.)

I do not have respect for whores. I don't hate them but I'm not going to pretend like they have anything to contribute to society other than their holes. If I see some random person at a con, man or woman, I assume they are a fan of whatever the con is about. If I see a cosplayer I assume they're a fan and hobbyist. If I see a character-themed whore I know they'll be going through an entire pack of condoms and are present almost exclusively for the profit opportunity.
