>Before requesting, here are some tips:
– Only request an image once per thread. Bumping your own request won't help either.
– All requests are welcome, within reason, but remember:
– The poorer the quality of an image (in resolution and drawing ability), the less likely it will be picked up. The more detail seen and higher the resolution, the better.
– Full-body images preferred. Images cut off on 3 or more sides are very unlikely to be picked up due to their limited usage; keep this in mind when finding an image to request. (Hair or skirt edges that are barely cut off don't usually count)
– Requests for removing the background from an image (called a RENDER) and resizing requests should go to the IMT threads.
– Refrain from using renders for requests. Try to find the original non-rendered image; it is easier for vectorists to work with.
– Note: Overly complicated images are unlikely to be picked up due to their nature. IF your request is taken, please have patience.

A style of wallpaper that has a render, within a shape, on top of a nature/urban background. Shapes are typically white/black in color. Background is often blurred around the shape, and left unblurred in the middle. Text is sometimes added.

Post your chuubas just some manga panels or edits (black and white only) I don't know what this style is called, but I like to call it the "y2k aesthetic". Basically, post wallpapers that look like they belong on a Windows XP machine, or an iMac G4. The more kitsch, the better! What is a powerlevel wallpaper?
Powerlevel is, above all, SUBTLE. It attempts to obscure its source material to anyone unfamiliar with it. It looks good to the uninitiated, while providing a neat nod for anyone who knows the reference.
Good examples of powerlevel include:
Insignias and logos
Distinctive equipment or ornamentation (weapons, masks, ribbons, hats, necklaces, glasses, anything that can identify the character to someone who knows the source)
In-universe organizations
Mascots and some non-humanoid side characters. Be careful on this one, it can be borderline.
What powerlevel usually does NOT include:
The anime's name or a character's name. There is some wiggle room here if all other criteria are met.
Faces, or most of a character's body.
Minimalism, if it depicts a character.
Landscapes and cityscapes. There is almost no wiggle room, unless you are 100% sure it's powerlevel despite being a landscape. We know, Monogatari and 5cm/s backgrounds look pretty good, but this isn't the thread for them.
Screencaps, unless the screencaps have been doctored to be high quality. Wallpapers that make you feel that speical kind of sadness Anything related to the OVAs, series, manga, fanart, etc...

I'm a huge fan of 07th Expansion even though the franchise took a hit with Higurashi Gou and Sotsu + the lack of news regarding Ciconia, in my opinion.
