You're assigned basically a number and it advertises to this number based on what you want it to. You can become a new "number" anytime you want. You can choose what info you give them. If you want more targeted ads you can get them. You also get paid by viewing the ads, and the companies buying the ad space get paid by people visiting their site and buying their shit.
