Ahh, you know what, I think you are right. Especially if a person's empathy is engaged. We can observe all the time where someone goes against the social grain because they're doing what they feel is right. And I think that's a great thing. Hmm, but from where do they derive their sense of right and wrong?? That's the classic quandary. It does operate internally, ie subjectively, in individuals. But is it formed from external observations and experiences? If I were trying to argue further for objectivism, then I would say that even if a person operates according to a internal code or set of personal principles, then their codes and principles could be what tends to form naturally due to their environment. Like they are advantageous traits. Kind of like ethical evolution selecting the most fit sense of morality, where empathy and caring for others is just an objectively better way to live in the long run. lol I really dunno. Maybe it's just morals aligning with divinity. I'm just drawn to objectivity for some reason, even if subjectivity cannot be ignored. Maybe it's just like paradoxically both intermingled, or a duality. Can't have dark without light sort of thing. Can't have objectivity without subjectivity. They're duals.
