most multitools are too dense of an object to actually pocket and walk around with all day IMO, and require faggy belt holsters.

its not an outdoors tool. its a tool specialized for urban environment use cases. where do steel hex nuts and phillips head screws occur in nature?
the only times it ever feels like the right tool for the job outdoors is cycling/atv/dirtbiking/leave one in the boat/etc. if you're not dealing with metal machinery with hex nuts and screws whats the point?

is a good example of what a multitool would look like if it was actually designed for /out/. light weight enough you can put it in a pocket and hike with it without a dedicated holster. nice big set of shears instead of pliers. i use one when foraging for mushrooms.
