if you'd fight for freedom then you might as well advocate for your freedom of association rather than bemoan contemporary HR practices. there's a tacit presumption here, that the fight for freedom begins and ends with mana from corporate employers or from the government. shouldn't you be advocating for your freedom of association or perhaps independence? you should be complaining about forced integration, not about HR policies per se. i haven't yet found a concise way to shut down this sort of misleading discourse, wherein crime, employment, government benefits, etc. are the object rather than freedom, but you're no better than those who simply demand benefits unless you get to the heart of the matter.
