Okay, so I don't disagree that the US was an essential part of the allied victory, the problem is you think that the US could easily have not been involved and that's just not the case.

Dude, solid majorities of the US population supported supplying the various nations (chiefly Britain, USSR and China,) that were under attack by Germany and Japan at the time. There's no real way this doesn't happen, counterfactuals need some basis in actual factual events in order to be even vaguely plausible.

Firstly, I think your arguing with someone else here with this. That said; the USA was a major part of both the strategic bombing campaign that helped to defeat Germany and also the various amphibious invasions that also were a vital part of the defeat of the Third Reich. The efforts against Japan should go without saying, really.
