>You're dehydrated

Drink more water. Even if you don't feel thirsty you may not be drinking enough. Along that same vein-

>your diet is shit

Fix it mate. Diet can effect sleep quality as much as other facets of health, sugar and carbs especially. Also-

>eat at appropriate times

If you're eating right before bed, especially crap with sugar and carbs, you're not resting properly. You should also wake up with a good breakfast that gives energy.

>you're using your sleeping space for anything but sleep

No more phones, tvs, vidya, or other distractions in your bedroom. Not just your bed, the room, it is only for rest and for self-organization, maybe some work and exercise. It is not meant to be your entertainment room. Yes it does matter.

>your sleeping conditions are shit.

Have a good bed? Good pillows, duvet, darkness, quiet, privacy, is your space totally comfortable? It should be.

>you don't schedule sleep and stick to it

Your body craves consistency. If you're taking late nights often, or otherwise not making appropriate time for sleep, your body doesn't know what to expect. You need to try to sleep and rise at roughly the same time daily. No sleeping in, and no staying up. If you really can't go to sleep, don't stay in your bed and hang out, get up and do some exercises, or some chores, but don't use this time for leisure, wear yourself out and try again in a half hour. Speaking of exercise-

>your health in general is shit

If you exercise properly, and use your body for what it's meant for, you should be physically tired and ready for bed at the end of the day. You shouldn't have 5 hours to waste phoneposting when you're meant to sleep. Move yourself, fix your diet, treat your body right. You can only get good rest as a reward of hard work.
